Please reach out to me. Open your arms and take me tightly within your grasp. Shelter me from this storm for I no longer wish this emptiness inside as my constant companion.

I stand here alone in the darkness kissed only by the moonlight and I pray for you to lay your fingers upon my heart and melt these splinters of ice piercing its fragile existance.

In the rays of the coming dawn bring the dead ashes that once burned brightly within my heart back to life.
