i may be 29 but i'll never
be too old for you

your world is so simple
your worries so innocent
oh to have my only concern
a full pot of honey
and plans for a rainy day

the real world is so much
more complicated but
nevertheless at times
when i am overwhelmed i
let myself drift back into
my childhood joys

your innocence surrounds
me and for just a moment
chases away reality

i dream of pooh bears taking
flight with balloons, of
clouds lazily drifting
across the sky, of tiggers
pouncing and christopher
robin's kite.
