| Today I glanced up at the bright
blue skye.
It's utter beauty taking me by surprise.
Right then and there I wanted only to grow
wings and fly, fly, fly. For I was seeing
the view from an eagle's eye.
The land and mountains continuing on for an eternity.
Until at last it meets the deep blue sea.
The call of the wild beckoning to me now oh so urgently.
The sun shines down on me, powerful wings
slicing through the wynde as I head out to sea.
Ahead I see a beach with snow white sand.
A man and a little girl are walking along the
shore hand in hand.
Dolphins and Seagulls at play as I pass them
by on my way. Where I am going I know not,
only that I never want to stop.
Spiraling down to an island beach I slow my
wings to land on a rock ever so gracefully.
Gazing up at the darkening sky I see the hour
is growing late. And know that I must be on
my way, for I wish not to tempt the fickle
hand of fate.
